Today Cr Lisa Bradley, the Chairperson for Environment and Sustainability together with Tony Chadwick, Senior Business Development Executive Logan City Council visited Practical Aquaponics to discuss ways to move forward in promoting Aquaponics within the Shire.
Cr L Bradley was very impressed with the Sustainable way in which Aquaponics works.
The Logan City Council visitors left carrying an “Aquaponics” lettuce each. They were very impressed with the size and quality of the lettuce…”larger than a bouquet of flowers”
The lettuce shown is “Oakleaf Green”. They also took away some “Red Butter” lettuce.
